Florida Crystals Supports Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowling Fundraiser to Help Empower Palm Beach County Children
Florida Crystals was excited to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties’ recent Bowl for Kids’ Sake event, an annual bowling fundraiser that helps the organization continue its important work helping children facing adversity in our communities.
Our employee, John Guido, has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters since November and facilitated our sponsorship of the June 5 Bowl for Kids’ Sake in Greenacres, Florida, about halfway between our Clematis Street headquarters in downtown West Palm Beach and our operations in the Glades region. John participated in the event on a team alongside his 9-year-old “Little.”
“The experience has been highly rewarding,” John said of his volunteer work. “It allows me to contribute to the personal and social development of an ambitious, funny, precious boy, all while feeling like a kid again as we enjoy different adventures.”
John was also grateful to have the company join him in supporting the organization that has become such a big part of his life while allowing him to give back to his community.
“This annual fundraiser occurs nationally, and sponsors like Florida Crystals generously support Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission to help children realize their potential and build their futures,” John said.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties presented John with a commemorative plaque to thank Florida Crystals for our support.
