Florida's Only Rice Mill

Rice is more than an environmentally friendly crop grown in South Florida; it is also a staple food for roughly two-thirds of the global population, providing more than 20 percent of the world's caloric needs. We are proud to be one of only seven states in the US that grows rice and contributes to the domestic supply of this vital food product.

We deliver our freshly harvested rice to our Sem-Chi rice mill, located in Belle Glade, Florida, where it is cleaned, dried, milled and packaged for delivery to local grocers or food makers. Along with the rice we grow on our own farms, we also mill rice for independent farmers in our area. Our rice mill supplies more than 90 million pounds of rice products each year.

Our sustainably grown and milled organic and conventional brown and white rice is gluten-free, kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified and suitable for vegans. Complementing our rice mill, we also operate a rice flour mill that produces organic and conventional rice flour that is a popular alternative for gluten-free diets.
